We use both time-honored techniques, including focus groups, individual interviews and web-assisted telephone interviews, as well as techniques developed for each client’s individual business issues to produce results with actionable findings.
We are one of a handful of companies that are trained specifically in the Jobs Outcomes methodology, which is now employed by a number of global cutting-edge medical device and pharmaceutical companies. This methodology shifts the research focus from the customer’s perception of the solution to the customer’s desired outcome. It is particularly beneficial for unmet needs, new product development, and segmentation research as it seeks to understand what jobs the customer wants to get done, what are the desired outcomes (i.e. how do they measure success) and how satisfied they are currently with their ability to do this.
While our area of expertise is qualitative research, we have developed partnerships with several quantitative firms who are also specialized in healthcare, and who we believe offer the same level of industry knowledge, quality of deliverables, and customer centric focus for which Ladd Research Group is known.
