Rachel Fischell

Healthcare Marketing Research and Product Strategist

Rachel Fischell, founder of Innovera Solutions, is a marketing research moderator and strategist with broad experience across the MedTech and pharmaceutical industries, including clinical research, product development, sales, marketing, market and user research, design thinking, and human factors engineering. Her areas of focus include identifying unmet needs, developing strategic insights using qualitative market research, utilizing design thinking to inform product and market strategy, and conducting formative usability testing.

Prior to joining Ladd Research Group, Rachel spent 5 years as the marketing representative on a wide variety of hardware, software, and digital product development teams within the Neuromodulation division at Boston Scientific. Her work included conducting ethnography and qualitative voice-of-customer research with patients, sales representatives, and providers, translating insights to R&D engineers and other product development team members, defining product and market strategy for new products, and educating providers on new products. Rachel has moderated IDIs, dyads, and focus groups via in-person and web-assisted formats.

Most recently, Rachel established a Portfolio Design group within Boston Scientific Neuromodulation to drive organizational prioritization of strategic design at all stages of product development. Prior to her work at Boston Scientific, Rachel held roles in sales with Johnson & Johnson’s Mentor division and in clinical research with IQVIA (previously Quintiles).

Rachel holds a BS degree in Neuroscience from Duke University and a Master’s degree in Translational Medicine from a joint program between the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) and San Francisco (UCSF).
